PINE CREEK PUBLIC HOUSE OPENING SOON AT ALLISON PARK PLAZA

PITTSBURGH, PA (PittsburghNewsWire.com) — Brandon Kretzler and his wife, Danielle Traeger, long-time operators of Kretzler’s Tavern, the 69-year-old Babcock Boulevard neighborhood favorite, will be launching Pine Creek Public House at the former Thirsty’s Bar & Grill space located in Allison Park Plaza.

Restaurant Broker, Terri Sokoloff of Specialty Group, brokered the sale of Thirsty’s Bar & Grill to Kretzler and Traeger for the new concept. Scheduled to open in Spring 2021, the space is under renovation with plans to add garage doors for an open-air dining environment complete with new menu and bar selections.

Sokoloff said the couple’s long-term success with the family business should bode well for their latest venture.

“I’ve known Brandon for years, and he is a highly experienced operator,” Sokoloff said. “He and Danielle have been looking for the right place to launch this new concept for a while, and the Thirsty’s location checked all the boxes.”

Brandon, Danielle and their team have launched Facebook and Instagram accounts for Pine Creek Public House where community members and future patrons can contribute to the menu planning through various surveys while keeping up on the progress of renovations.

  1. Best of luck! Looking forward to your opening. I will have my wife write down her recipe for the honey halpenio. You might want to check with the girls that use to work at the other.
